Not medical advice

Tansie provides general sun-safety information, UV estimates, and tanning guidance. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, including skin cancer. UV forecasts and skin-scan results are estimates and may be inaccurate. Always use your own judgment, follow sunscreen product instructions, and consult a qualified professional for medical concerns.

License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Tansie on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple App Store terms.

Subscriptions and free trial

Tansie offers optional Pro subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel in your App Store account settings. Any free trial converts to a paid subscription unless canceled before it ends.

Certain features, such as additional AI skin scans and Apple Watch tracking, require an active Pro subscription.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to reverse engineer it, interfere with its operation, or use it for any unlawful purpose. You are responsible for the content of any photos you submit for analysis.

Intellectual property

The app, its design, and content are owned by Tansie or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including sunburn, skin damage, or health outcomes, arising from your use of or reliance on the app.

Changes and termination

We may update the app and these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.
